This guide will help in setting up microphone to work trough the RDP connection.<\/span><\/p>\n

Configuring Device Redirection Services<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

First step is done on the local PC and target server. Run “gpedit.msc”:<\/span>

Go by path: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Local Computer Policy -> Computer Configuration -> Administrative templates -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services -> Remote Desktop Session Host -> Devise and Resource Redirection-> Enable\u00a0 “Allow audio recording redirection” \u0438 “Allow audio and video payback redirection”:

Enabling Windows Audio Services<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Search for “services”:

Find and open “Windows Audio” Service:<\/span><\/p>\n

In the “Startup type” choose “Automatic” so that service is always available:<\/span><\/p>\n

Run “REGEDIT”:

Find fDisableAudioCapture <\/strong>and set to 00000000:<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Start menu look for a “Server Manager”:<\/span>
