This script includes the following components:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/vps\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4441 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/728x90.jpg\" alt=\"728x90\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Dovecot &#8211; POP3 and IMAP services;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Postfix &#8211; SMTP-server;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Cluebringer &#8211; politics service of the Postfix server;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">SpamAssassin &#8211; spam filter;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">ClamAV &#8211; antivirus;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Amavisd &#8211; interface for exchange between Mail Transfer Agent, antivirus scanner ClamAV and antispam filter SpamAssassin;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Roundcube &#8211; web-interface to enter the email box and manage letters and contacts; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">iRedAdmin &#8211; web-interface to manage users accounts, mailboxes and mail domains. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Also, it is possible to choose and install additional components (for example, the Apache web server, PHP, MySQL database, PostgreSQL or OpenLDAP directory service). Depending on Your choice you can use <strong>iRedMail<\/strong> to install the necessary components to manage post service via web interface (phpMyAdmin, phpPgAdmin or phpLDAPadmin).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Before installing <strong>iRedMail<\/strong>, make sure you have all the necessary records on DNS servers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"> For the correct work of iRedMail check the following settings:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">unihost.com A 127.0.0.1 3600 (TTL)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">mail.unihost.com A 127.0.0.1 3600 (TTL)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">unihost.com MX 10 mail.unihost.com 3600 (TTL)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">unihost.com NS ns1.skydns.net 3600 (TTL)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">unihost.com NS ns2.skydns.net 3600 (TTL)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">unihost.com TXT v=spf1 ip4:127.0.0.1 a mx ~all 3600 (TTL)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">ftp.unihost.com A 127.0.0.1 3600 (TTL)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">pop.unihost.com A 127.0.0.1 3600 (TTL)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">We typed <em>unihost.com<\/em> on the place where the name of your domain must be, instead of <em>127.0.0.1<\/em> &#8211; your necessary IP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><em>3600 (TTL)<\/em> &#8211; it is the update period of the DNS server (in seconds), this value is optimal (advise you not to change it).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">If you use your own servers as DNS, then the discription of the domain zone will be like this:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1403 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/binded.jpg\" alt=\"iRedMail on CentOS 7\" width=\"718\" height=\"358\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 2\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">If you use outside DNS servers, you have to get this records from the Client Area of the owners of that DNS servers. If your domain is parked at <strong><em>ns1.skydns.net<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>ns2.skydns.net<\/em><\/strong> (our DNS servers), you may add all the necessary records from your Client Area. Details how to do it are <a href=\"\/?p=978\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"> To install iRedMail you need clean and updated server to avoid any conflicts with the software! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Let`s start. First you have to update the system and the packets. Run the following commands one by one: <\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">yum upgrade -y<\/span><\/pre>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">yum update -y<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">After this you have to edit <strong>\/etc\/hosts<\/strong> file using any text editor you like: <\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">127.0.0.1 mail.unihost.com mail localhost<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"> Then deactivate <em>selinux<\/em> protection. Open <strong>\/etc\/selinux\/config<\/strong> file with any text editor and change the value of directive <em>SELINUX=enforcing<\/em> to <em>disabled<\/em>. Your file will be like this:<\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"># This file controls the state of SELinux on the system.\n# SELINUX= can take one of these three values:\n# enforcing \u2014 SELinux security policy is enforced.\n# permissive \u2014 SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing.\n# disabled \u2014 No SELinux policy is loaded.\nSELINUX=disabled\n# SELINUXTYPE= can take one of these two values:\n# targeted \u2014 Targeted processes are protected,\n# minimum \u2014 Modification of targeted policy. Only selected processes are protected.\n# mls \u2014 Multi Level Security protection.\nSELINUXTYPE=targeted<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Reboot server and check its work using <em>selinux<\/em> command:<\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">getenforce<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">If everything is ok, you will see: <strong>Disabled<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Go to <strong>\/root<\/strong> and download <em>iRedMail-0.9.2.tar.bz2<\/em>archive:<\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">cd \/root<\/span><\/pre>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">wget https:\/\/bitbucket.org\/zhb\/iredmail\/downloads\/iRedMail-0.9.2.tar.bz2<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Extract it:<\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">tar -xjf iRedMail-0.9.2.tar.bz2<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Go to extracted folder and install <strong>iRedMail<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">cd .\/iRedMail-0.9.2<\/span><\/pre>\n<pre><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">bash iRedMail.sh<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">If everything is right you will see the dialogue window where you have to select <strong>Yes<\/strong> and press <em>Enter<\/em>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/vps\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4441 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/728x90.jpg\" alt=\"728x90\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 3\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1410\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/red1.jpeg\" alt=\"iRedMail on CentOS 7\" width=\"609\" height=\"339\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 4\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Then you have to select a directory to save mails. You will see a directory chosen by default (you may change it or not as you want). Press <strong>Next<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1412\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/red2.jpg\" alt=\"iRedMail on CentOS 7\" width=\"606\" height=\"339\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 5\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">If <em>LAMP<\/em> or <em>LEMP<\/em> are not installed on the server, you will have to install one of these web-servers:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1414\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/red3.jpg\" alt=\"iRedMail on CentOS 7\" width=\"606\" height=\"339\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 6\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Choose the database server:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1416\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/red4.jpg\" alt=\"iRedMail on CentOS 7\" width=\"606\" height=\"340\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 7\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Enter the password of <strong>root<\/strong> from <em>SQL<\/em> user and press <strong>Next<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1418\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/red5.jpg\" alt=\"iRedMail on CentOS 7\" width=\"605\" height=\"337\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 8\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">If there are no eails names created before you will have to do it. Type the necessary name and press <strong>Next<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1420\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/red6.jpg\" alt=\"iRedMail on CentOS 7\" width=\"605\" height=\"339\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 9\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Create a password for the domain administrator to enter the web-interface management. Enter the password and press <strong>Next<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1422\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/red7.jpg\" alt=\"iRedMail on CentOS 7\" width=\"606\" height=\"338\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 10\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">You will see the list of optional components. Press <em>SPACE<\/em>, choose and click on <strong>Next<\/strong> button:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1424\" src=\"https:\/\/unihost.com\/help\/minio.php?2015\/08\/red8.jpg\" alt=\"iRedMail on CentOS 7\" width=\"606\" height=\"338\" \/ title=\"How to setup iRedMail on CentOS 7 - Image 11\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">Next, we will see a message indicating that the configuration is complete and confirm that you can start the installation.
