If you need to reinstall OS or change its version \u2014 it is really easy! The most important thing is you can do it yourself, without contacting technical support!<\/span><\/p>\n

First method<\/strong> To reinstall OS on the server you need to log into control panel https:\/\/my.unihost.com\/<\/span><\/a>, choose needed VPS, press \u00abManage\u00bb<\/strong> button and go to tab \u00abGeneral\u00bb<\/strong>: <\/span><\/p>\n

Then press Reinstall Reinstall<\/strong> button. <\/span><\/p>\n

In opened setup wizard choose needed OS. You may choose clean OS, as well as already tuned OS with add-ons for concrete tasks, which will be installed automatically with OS and do not require additional settings:<\/span><\/p>\n

– ISPmanager Lite and Pro <\/span>
\n – cPanel\/WHM <\/span>
\n – Java-Tomcat <\/span>
\n – Ruby on Rails <\/span>
\n – OpenVPN <\/span>
\n – Redmine<\/span><\/p>\n

and others.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Reinstall<\/p>\n

Press \u201cReinstall<\/strong>\u201d button and confirm OS reinstall.<\/span><\/p>\n

After that the process of installation will start. It may take up to 15-20 minutes, depending on the power of your server. You will also get a new password for entering the server (ROOT password). Save it or copy because it is not listed anywhere else.<\/span><\/p>\n

Second method:<\/strong> reinstalling OS via CD-ROM. In this case, only clean OS is being installed, other settings are set up by you. After that choose needed OS from the drop-down list and press \u00abMount\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Then go to “Settings<\/strong>” tab and choose \u00ab(1) CDROM (2) Hard Disk\u00bb in “Boot order<\/strong>” section.<\/span><\/p>\n

Press “Set<\/strong>” button and reload your VPS with “Reboot<\/strong>” in the General section. <\/span>
\nAfter rebooting server enter the VNC terminal (press “VNC<\/strong>” button in control panel) and follow setup wizard instructions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IMPORTANT: <\/strong> <\/span>All data from the server is deleted when reinstalling OS. <\/span><\/div>\n
1.If you bought ISPmanager license and installed OS with ISPmanager panel, but get the following message when trying to enter control panel: Fatal Error: “Invalid License”, you need to activate a license for ISPmanager.<\/a>.<\/span><\/span>
