One of the standard features of Joomla CMS is to send emails. Mass mailing, feedback, sending emails after users registration on the website – all these options are available. To setup Joomla mail, do the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Go to Joomla Administration panel- http:\/\/domain\/administrator<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Go to “System<\/strong>” tab, select “General settings<\/strong>“<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Go to “Server<\/b>” tab<\/span><\/p>\n

4. In the second column to the right you will see a section “Email settings”<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

5. There are three ways to send mail:<\/span><\/p>\n

– phpmail<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Website e-mail<\/strong><\/em> is your e-mail account that will be used for mailing. Type it <\/span>in “WWW Domains” tab (“Administrator E-Mail” field) in ISPManager.<\/span><\/p>\n

The sender of the email <\/strong><\/em>– name of the sender, e.g., “Administration”.<\/span><\/p>\n

– sendmail<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

IMPORTANT:<\/span> To make the script work properly it is necessary to register \u043dour e-mail account from which mail will be sent, in the “www domains” (“Administrator E-Mail” field). Specify the path via Sendmailn php.ini file placed in php-bin folder.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

SMTP user name<\/i><\/b> – your e-mail<\/span><\/p>\n
PAssword for SMTP<\/i><\/b> – your password for the e-mail<\/span><\/p>\n
SMTP server<\/i><\/b> – depends on your mail domain, e.g., smtp.mail.ru<\/span><\/p>\n
