(<span style=\"font-family: 'Ubuntu Mono', monospace;\">sub<\/span> = <span style=\"font-family: 'Ubuntu Mono', monospace;\">sub.domain.com<\/span>)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">The record types and how to fill them<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><strong>A record.\u00a0<\/strong>Used to map hostnames to the IP addresses of the host.\u00a0Type the full name of your domain in the <em>Name<\/em>\u00a0field. Type the server IP address in the field <em>Address.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><strong>\u0421NAME.<\/strong>\u00a0 Used to redirect the DNS lookup services to another domain. Specify the full name of your domain in the <em>Name<\/em> field. Type the domain name of your redirection target in the <em>Address<\/em> field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><strong>MX. <\/strong>Used to redirect the mail services to another domain.\u00a0Type the number corresponding to the priority of the record in the field <em>Priority\u00a0<\/em>(the lower the number, the higher the priority). Type the domain name\u00a0pf the redirection target in the <em>Address<\/em> field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\"><strong>TXT.<\/strong>\u00a0Serves as a way to link the domain to some text information\u00a0\u2014\u00a0usually the server type, server owner, etc. Type\u00a0the full domain name in the <em>Name<\/em> field. The other A records are not visible in the table, because they are registered for subdomains. You can check the records for subdomains via console using the following command:<\/span>\n<pre lang=\"php\">dig @ns1.skydns.net sub.domain.com -t any<\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu,sans-serif;\">or<\/span><\/p>\n<pre lang=\"php\">host sub.domain.com ns1.skydns.net -t an<\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu,sans-serif;\">where <span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu Mono,monospace;\">sub.domain.com<\/span> \u2014 a name of the subdomain, <span style=\"font-family: 'Ubuntu Mono', monospace;\">domain.com<\/span> is your domain and\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu Mono,monospace;\">ns1.skydns.net<\/span> \u2014 DNS server.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Ubuntu, sans-serif;\">All the records on the page are divided into lists according to the record type.
